The first goal refers to the improved competences of employees, which significantly contribute to better quality interpreting for people with deafblindness. All these skills and competences will significantly contribute to higher quality work and responding to diverse needs. The second goal is to develop guidelines/recommendations for interpreting to people with deafblindness. This would represent an important teaching tool/guide for high-quality and professional work or interpreting.
We decided to apply for the project because in practice we are faced with the need to acquire and upgrade the knowledge and competences necessary for high-quality and professional interpreting for people with deafblindness, with a desire for progress, professional and personal development, and the development of the profession. With the help of the project and connecting with experts from abroad who have many years of experiences, we as an organization will gain invaluable knowledge.
