Objectives

The project “Shaping the Future of Green Entrepreneurship” addressed the field of entrepreneurship from the perspective of sustainable development and the green economy. The main goal that the partners ambitiously set for themselves in the long term is to combat youth unemployment in the EU. We made every effort to achieve the desired effect, namely that the participants gain the knowledge and skills to develop their business idea into a company, and consequently better prepare themselves for the labor market of the next generation. When discussing the project topic, an important emphasis was placed on environmentally friendly entrepreneurship. We presented the young people with a broader picture of entrepreneurship that meets the needs of the current human race, without compromising the needs of future generations. We guided them towards appropriate action in this area, taking into account the coexistence of three key pillars in their activities, namely economic development, social responsibility and environmental protection. The implementation of the project encouraged the participants to develop most of the Youthpass competences, with the main emphasis on entrepreneurship. We offered young participants basic guidelines for discovering and developing business ideas that would also be in line with environmental and social needs. We encouraged them to broaden their own perspective and potential in the business field. As part of this project, we also touched on some of the problems that young people face, especially when entering the labor market. We enabled participants to acquire certain business skills and a way of thinking about sustainable development. They looked for connections between entrepreneurship and green and digital strategies, in order to become more competitive and innovative. Through various activities and approaches to non-formal education, we promoted activities that would help them prepare for their first business steps. They understood what it means to be an entrepreneur and how it can affect sustainable development and the green economy. They also learned about successful companies in this field. By simply participating in the exchange, the participants had various opportunities for informal education, and for acquiring new knowledge, experiences, friendships and memories. They participated in creative and innovative workshops. We encouraged them to think, debate and create. They acquired numerous analytical, practical and digital skills, which will also have a positive impact on their personal development.
