The project aimed to introduce youth workers and other professionals to hackathons as an innovative method for working with young people, linking this approach to the fields of youth health, prevention, and health literacy. The main objective of the project was to strengthen participants' competencies in using more participatory, creative, and problem-oriented approaches in youth work, with a particular focus on connecting the youth and health sectors. The project emerged from the need to address topics such as mental health, prevention, healthy lifestyles, and active youth participation in a way that involves young people and gives them an active role in problem-solving. At the same time, we aimed to promote international collaboration among organizations, exchange best practices, and develop an approach that could be used in local environments after the activity's completion.
