The objectives of the project are: 1. To empower youth workers to successfully support young people with fewer opportunities (LGBT+ young people and young people with mental health problems) in finding employment. This will be achieved through training and workshops covering topics such as CV writing, interview preparation, competency identification, labour market screening and video production. 2. Introduce online job shadowing into the regular practice of the participating organisations as one of the ways to strengthen young people's competences. It will be a learning environment for young people to see first-hand what work looks like in a concrete workplace and what soft skills and specificities the job requires. By making the job shadowing online, we also offer the opportunity to young people who, for various reasons, cannot attend the activity in person. For youth workers, the job shadowing would give them the space and time to accompany and get to know the young person, and to provide basic career guidance in the process. It will enable them to identify the needs of the individual and provide individualised support accordingly. 3. Create and disseminate videos on soft skills in job search that will be useful for other organisations or for the general public.
