The project aims to address the challenges and needs of young LGBTIQ+ persons from the Western Balkans living in Slovenia. The key goals are to establish safe spaces, overcome stigmatization and strengthen self-confidence in expressing identity. We strive to reduce isolation and connect these individuals with the local LGBTIQ+ community. Monthly meetups will foster inclusion, experience sharing and the development of skills for social participation. A special focus will be placed on combating discrimination and raising public awareness about the state of LGBTIQ+ rights in Western Balkan countries. The project will also encourage political engagement among youth, as many refrain from participating in political processes that directly affect their rights due to a lack of information and a sense of exclusion. By creating a community based on solidarity, we seek to empower young people to actively engage in society, recognize their worth and shape a future where they're equally represented
