We strengthened the internationalisation of the school and our networking with companies. Participants gained international experience in sustainability and enhanced their qualifications. We focused on incorporating environmental trends into vocational education and linking theory with practice. The project included the development of language and intercultural competencies, thereby improving participants’ ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in an international environment.
The project aligns with our school’s focus on preparing students for careers in business and services. It expands their professional and practical skills in gastronomy, hospitality and tourism. Through this project, we focused on two of our fields of study – tourism services and the hotel school, as they can benefit most from the project. Through job shadowing, teachers enhanced education by integrating sustainability principles into tourism and gastronomy.
