"Nature Vibes: Connect, Grow, Belong!" is a unique Erasmus+ youth exchange project designed to inspire young people to reconnect with nature, build resilience, and foster well-being and inclusion. Through immersive outdoor experiences, community-led initiatives, and intercultural exchange, participants will explore how nature can transform personal and social well-being. The project engages youth from Slovakia, Armenia, Slovenia, and Georgia, prioritizing inclusivity for participants from economically disadvantaged families, broken homes, and immigrant or refugee backgrounds. Why This Project Matters: In an increasingly digital and fast-paced world, young people often feel disconnected from nature, themselves, and their communities. "Nature Vibes" offers a chance to step outside, embrace the outdoors, and forge meaningful connections with peers from diverse cultural contexts. The project combines nature-based learning with intercultural collaboration, enabling participants to grow personally, build resilience, and create lasting bonds. Focus on Disadvantaged Youth: The project prioritizes youth with fewer opportunities, including those from challenging socio-economic, familial, or migratory backgrounds. Activities are designed to accommodate different needs and fitness levels, ensuring accessibility and belonging for all participants. This inclusive approach fosters a supportive, empathetic space where everyone feels valued and empowered to thrive. Main Goal: To enhance youth resilience, well-being, and inclusion through nature-based experiences and intercultural collaboration, fostering a lifelong connection to nature and community. Participants: The project involves a total of 36 individuals, including 33 young participants from Slovakia, Armenia, Slovenia, and Georgia (with group leaders), 2 facilitators, and 1 accompanying person. Stages of the Project: The "Nature Vibes: Connect, Grow, Belong!" project consists of three stages: a youth exchange in Armenia to build skills and connections, community-led nature hikes to apply learning locally, and a second youth exchange in Slovakia to reflect, co-create a guide, and deepen intercultural collaboration. Stage 1: First Youth Exchange in Yerevan, Armenia (21–30 November 2025) Objectives: - Explore the benefits of nature in promoting mental well-being, resilience, and social inclusion. - Build personal and group connections through outdoor team-building activities. - Foster intercultural understanding and collaboration through shared experiences in nature. - Introduce mindfulness and reflection practices to enhance resilience and self-awareness. - Equip participants with the skills and confidence to plan and run inclusive Community Nature Hikes in their local areas. Stage 2: Community Nature Hikes (January–June 2026) Participants from each national group will organize two Community Nature Hikes (eight hikes total) in their local communities. Key Elements of the Hikes: - Inclusivity: Hikes will be tailored to diverse fitness levels, ensuring participation from a broad range of community members. - Reflection Stops: Participants will lead discussions on resilience, challenges, and nature’s role in well-being. - Nature Interpretation: Participants will guide exploration of local ecosystems, highlighting their benefits for mental and social health. Stage 3: Second Youth Exchange in Bratislava, Slovakia (1–6 July 2026) Objectives: - Reflect on the impact of the Community Nature Hikes and share lessons learned. - Co-create the "Get Outside & Thrive: Nature, Friends, and Feel-Good Vibes" guide, consolidating the project’s experiences, methods, and reflections. - Strengthen intercultural connections and deepen bonds among participants. - Empower participants with advocacy tools to promote nature-based well-being initiatives in their communities.
