The "Discover, Connect, Engage 2.0" project aims to provide young people with meaningful learning experiences, intercultural connections, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. From a youth work perspective, the main objectives are: 1. Promote intercultural learning & European identity Facilitate meaningful exchanges between Spanish and Slovak youth to foster intercultural awareness. Help young people explore and appreciate European cultural diversity. Encourage discussions on European values, shared history, and cooperation. 2. Encourage social inclusion & equal opportunities Ensure the participation of young people with fewer opportunities, particularly those from rural areas or disadvantaged backgrounds. Break down barriers related to geographic isolation, economic obstacles, and limited access to international experiences. Provide an inclusive environment where all participants feel valued and supported. 3. Develop key skills for personal & professional growth Enhance communication, leadership, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills through non-formal learning activities. Strengthen self-confidence and encourage active participation in youth-led initiatives. Equip young people with tools to take initiative in their communities. 4. Promote physical & mental well-being Encourage healthy lifestyles through outdoor activities, sports, and mindfulness sessions. Help participants manage screen time and digital consumption through a "Detox Challenge." Foster personal resilience and self-awareness in a supportive peer-learning environment. 5. Foster Youth empowerment & community engagement Inspire participants to take an active role in their communities by organizing local projects after the exchange. Encourage young people to become active citizens and future youth leaders. Support follow-up initiatives such as social media campaigns, awareness workshops, and youth-led community projects. By achieving these objectives, the project aligns with Erasmus+ values, ensuring that youth mobility contributes to inclusion, diversity, skill-building, and European cooperation. It aims to empower young people, encourage lifelong learning, and create a lasting impact on their communities.
