The aim of the project is to raise awareness among young people about mental health, provide them with tools to manage stress and emotional overload, and develop their self-awareness and emotional intelligence. The project focuses on creating a safe space where participants can openly discuss mental health, share their experiences, and learn coping strategies for psychological challenges. From the perspective of youth work practice, the project follows the methodology of non-formal education, emphasizing interactive workshops, group discussions, practical activities, and reflection. The goal is not only to provide theoretical knowledge but also to allow participants to apply what they learn in real-life situations and integrate it into their daily lives. Special attention will be given to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds who have limited opportunities to develop their competencies in the field of mental health. The project includes several SMART objectives: • Increase participants' awareness of mental health – 80% of participants will correctly identify at least three factors affecting mental health in the final evaluation questionnaire. • Teach participants three stress and emotional overload management techniques, with at least 70% of participants able to correctly describe and demonstrate one technique in a practical exercise. • Support self-awareness and emotional intelligence – 75% of participants will be able to list at least two ways to regulate their emotions in conflict situations in the evaluation sheet. • Create a community support group for sharing experiences and providing post-exchange support, with at least 60% of participants actively involved. • Promote mental health awareness – each national group will prepare at least one informational output (video, article, poster), reaching at least 100 views or interactions on social media. The project is designed to equip young people with knowledge and skills that they can use in their daily lives, strengthening their mental resilience and ability to cope with emotional challenges.
