With this project, we aim to enhance the environmental sustainability capacity of Sultanbeyli Municipality, develop effective solutions to combat climate change, and improve the expertise of municipal staff in this field. The training outcomes will be integrated into the Ecology School plan and awareness programs, increasing public environmental awareness, boosting recycling rates, promoting sustainable living habits, and fostering international collaborations.
In our district, awareness of climate change and environmental sustainability is low, and issues such as inadequate recycling rates, lack of green space protection, and the insufficient adoption of sustainable living practices persist. We are applying for this project to strengthen the capacity of the newly established Climate Change and Zero Waste Directorate, enhance our staff's expertise in sustainability, environmental education, and climate change, and establish international collaborations
