Our project aimed to bring together young people from different countries to enhance their knowledge, skills, and awareness in the areas of human rights, the rule of law, combating hate speech, and preventing discrimination. Young people from Turkey, Egypt, Palestine, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Poland, and Romania were brought together in an intercultural learning environment, encouraging the sharing of diverse experiences and the development of common solutions. Strengthening young people's active citizenship awareness, developing their critical thinking skills, and supporting them in recognizing hate speech in digital media and developing effective methods to counter it were among our key priorities. Utilizing non-formal learning methods, the project aimed to strengthen participants' communication skills, teamwork competencies, intercultural dialogue capacity, and commitment to democratic values. A safe and inclusive learning environment was created for young people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds to learn together, question prejudices, develop mutual understanding, and build international friendships. Finally, our main goals included enabling participants to disseminate what they learned in their own countries, initiate new local initiatives, and maintain international collaborations. In line with these objectives, the project has contributed to the personal development of young people while also significantly strengthening long-term and sustainable international partnerships among participating organizations.
