Objectives

Our main objective in implementing this project is to deepen young people's understanding of cultural heritage in the digital age, enabling them to better understand both their own culture and other cultures through mythological narratives & legends and connect them with modern technologies. Our goal is to provide young people with the opportunity to acquire digital skills while exploring cultural values and to encourage them to become active participants in this process. Within the scope of the project, young people will have the chance to experience different cultures and observe the connections between them. This process will not only enhance cultural awareness but also help them develop skills such as collaboration and creative thinking. Mythology, one of the foundations of our cultural heritage, is a value that needs to be preserved and integrated with modern technologies for future generations. This project aims not only for young people to learn about this heritage but also to reinterpret and sustain it through digital tools. We want young people to establish connections with the past and strengthen these ties through innovative methods such as digital games and storytelling. In this way, we aim to provide an environment that fosters both individual creativity and social awareness. By bringing together participants from different countries, opportunities will be created for them to experience cultural diversity, engage in discussions about mythological narratives and cultural connections, and foster solidarity. Young people from various cultures will express their ideas, engage in discussions, and learn from one another, coming together around shared values. Additionally, this project will encourage individuals not only to learn about mythology but also to actively contribute to its preservation and digital adaptation for the future. One of our biggest goals is to ensure that young people do not see cultures and mythologies as forgotten, insignificant elements of the past but as cultural components of great importance for the future. The project’s primary focus is not only to equip young people with technical skills but also to enhance their creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Through modern methods such as digital games, simulations, excursions, discussions, and storytelling, young people will explore the roots of mythology and develop innovative perspectives on these foundations. Through this process, we aim for young people to become more conscious and active individuals both individually and socially. The project will develop young people's ability to work with digital tools and teach them how these tools can be integrated with cultural legends. By working together with participants from different cultures, awareness will be raised about the richness of cultural diversity, thus contributing to the strengthening of intercultural dialogue. Young people will not only be consumers in this process but will also take on a productive role. Another significant goal of this project is to enable young people to use technology more consciously and creatively. In a digitalized world, it is a valuable opportunity for young people to enrich cultural stories with modern tools and share them with broader audiences. The data collected through excursions, activities, and discussions within the project will be analyzed, and through interdisciplinary collaboration, a digital game and simulation portal will be developed. This platform will serve as both an educational and entertaining space, allowing young people to learn about mythology linked to cultural heritage while also enjoying the process. From the perspective of youth work, this project will allow young people to strengthen their socialization, empathy, and innovative thinking skills. While playing an active role in modernizing mythology, an essential part of cultural heritage, participants will also have the opportunity to develop themselves through different perspectives. This project will contribute not only to individual development but also to strengthening social ties. In the long term, we aim for this project to offer young people an experience that stimulates their imagination and encourages them to build bridges between the past and the future. This approach, which will combine cultural heritage with digital tools, will create a sustainable cultural dialogue environment and support the creative individuals of the future. We believe that the knowledge and skills young people gain through this project will be applicable in different areas of their lives and that this experience will make them more equipped individuals.
