Objectives

Bursa Commodity Exchange (BTB) is the coordinator of the Bursa Women Entrepreneurs Council (UPS), which operates under the umbrella of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). BTB carries out various projects and business associations in order to promote women's entrepreneurship and strengthen the role of women in the business world. Our project is designed to encourage young women entrepreneurship, improve digital skills and increase participation in the business world. Based on the perspective of Erasmus+ Youth Studies, within the scope of the project, it will be ensured that young people gain competence in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, digital economy and sustainable business models. Participants will gain economic independence by playing a more active role in the business world and will have the opportunity to implement innovative business ideas. With our project, in addition to supporting the integration of women into the entrepreneurial ecosystem, it will contribute to the commercialization of business ideas through meetings with investors and business development workshops. In order to improve digital economy and financial management skills, it is aimed that 80% of the participants will have basic knowledge about digital marketing, e-commerce and blockchain-based business models. Financial literacy trainings and entrepreneurship financing support will facilitate women entrepreneurs' access to investment funds. The project will strengthen women's entrepreneurship networks by establishing collaborations with partners from Germany, France and the Netherlands in order to ensure that participants are included in the international entrepreneurship ecosystem. It will be ensured that at least 50% of the participants participate in international business networks and establish connections with investment funds in Europe. By raising awareness about green economy and sustainable entrepreneurship, it is aimed to bring at least 5 entrepreneurs who develop circular economy, zero waste and environmentally friendly business models together with investors. In the project, it is aimed that young entrepreneurs will achieve sustainable success in the business world by being supported by mentoring mechanisms. Thanks to the one-on-one mentoring programs to be organized with successful businesswomen and investors, it will be ensured that 70% of young women entrepreneurs receive mentoring during the process and at least 40% will continue to benefit from mentoring services after the project. Innovative educational methodologies such as experiential learning, hackathons, digital simulations and interactive educational tools will be applied to support the individual development of young people. Social media and digital platforms will be used effectively for the dissemination of the project, and the results of the project will be published on platforms such as YouTube, LinkedIn and Instagram. Participants will produce blog posts and video content to enable the project to reach a wider audience. By establishing sustainable business associations with the entrepreneurial ecosystem, successful entrepreneurs will be directed to investors and accelerator programs. After the completion of the project, an alumni communication network will be created for the participants, so that graduates will create a long-term entrepreneurial community by providing access to international business opportunities. By ensuring integration into Erasmus+ and other funding programs, it will be ensured that applications will be made to at least 3 new Erasmus + KA2 projects after the project and entrepreneurs will take an active role in these projects. By cooperating with institutions such as TOBB, KOSGEB and ISKUR in Turkey, the project outputs will be integrated into entrepreneurship support programs. Policy makers and government support programs will benefit from the project results to implement new projects that encourage young entrepreneurs. In the international arena, project participants will be directed to major entrepreneurial events such as Web Summit, Slush and TechCrunch Disrupt, increasing their access to global business opportunities. Thanks to this project, young women entrepreneurs will not only develop their business ideas, but also gain the skills to evaluate the opportunities offered by the digital age and create sustainable business models. At the end of the project, it is expected that at least 10 entrepreneurs will grow their businesses with investor support, more than 500 entrepreneurs will benefit from the project resources, and more than 10,000 people will learn about the project through social media and other digital channels. Our project, which will be implemented to support entrepreneurship, adapt to the digital economy and increase the representation of women in the business world, will contribute to the creation of a permanent entrepreneurial ecosystem in the long term by directly contributing
