Objectives

Anyone can play table tennis. Table tennis is a sports branch that is most adaptable to physically disabled, mentally disabled and hearing impaired individuals and can most easily involve athletes. It is aimed for our disabled athletes, who are in the disadvantaged segments of society, to be more committed to both sports and social life, and to gain new perspectives on life and society by meeting new people. Our special athletes, who have been playing ping pong under the management of table tennis coaches for years, will share their experiences with the coaches and athletes of the partner country. They will tell each other how they adapted to the sport of table tennis according to their disability, including wheelchairs, and how they gained competitiveness. As in every sports branch, in the table tennis branch, the rules change according to the disability of the individual, and the use of tools and equipment and different techniques are applied accord-ing to the individual's disability. The techniques and equipment used between the two countries to adapt the individual to the relevant sports branch according to his/her disability will be considered as good examples, and institutional capacity will be increased. It is planned to increase the level of organization in the spirit of the European Union. It is aimed to create a fighting spirit in disadvantaged young people and to remove society's prejudices against disadvantaged segments. It is aimed to create a fighting spirit in disadvantaged young people, to remove the prejudices of the society against the disadvantaged segments, to make disabled individuals feel once again that they are not separate from the society, which will test that every individual can adapt to any sports branch, and can do any sport despite the difficulties.
