Our project aims to address the growing issue of digital addiction among young people by mitigating its negative effects on mental health, social integration, and physical well-being. Through this initiative, we seek to equip young people with digital literacy skills, raise awareness about responsible internet use, and encourage them to build a balanced relationship with technology. Project Objectives: Raising Awareness: Educating young people about excessive screen time, online addiction, and its impact on mental and physical health. Developing Digital Literacy and Cybersecurity Skills: Providing participants with practical knowledge on responsible internet use, online privacy, and protection against AI manipulation and digital fraud. Strengthening Mental and Physical Well-being: Encouraging healthier lifestyles through digital detox strategies, mindfulness techniques, and sports activities. Promoting Social Inclusion and Intercultural Exchange: Bringing together young people from diverse backgrounds to share their experiences and co-create solutions for digital well-being. Encouraging Leadership and Active Citizenship: Empowering young people to become digital well-being ambassadors by organizing awareness campaigns and local workshops in their communities. Aligned with youth work priorities, this project fosters participation through non-formal education methods, helping young people develop sustainable digital habits. By equipping them with essential lifelong skills, we aim to empower young individuals to lead a more conscious digital life and become responsible citizens in the digital world.
