Objectives

Young people serve as a source of knowledge, experience, and interaction, continuously shaping and spreading ideas. However, their well-being, technical skills, and motivation—elements that have direct impacts on the field—are often overlooked. This project aims to focus on both young people and their potential, ensuring a more effective and beneficial educational experience. Growing up in the digital age provides young people with unlimited access to information, but it also exposes them to serious threats such as disinformation, digital addiction, and unconscious content consumption. Aligned with Erasmus+ priorities in digital transformation, youth participation in democratic life, and critical thinking development, this project seeks to empower young people to move beyond being passive digital consumers and become critical thinkers, conscious content creators, and active contributors in the digital world. 1. Enhancing Digital Literacy and Critical Thinking Skills Young people are constantly exposed to vast amounts of information, yet their ability to analyze, verify, and consume content critically is not fully developed. Through this project, we will teach them how to detect fake news, protect themselves from manipulative content, and manage digital obesity. This will be achieved through interactive workshops, media analysis exercises, and simulation-based learning methods. 2. Combating Digital Obesity and Promoting Healthy Digital Habits Today, young people are not lacking information; rather, they are overwhelmed by excessive digital content. Prolonged screen time leads to decreased attention spans and unhealthy digital habits. In alignment with Erasmus+ priorities on youth mental and social well-being, this project will educate young people on mindful digital engagement, managing screen time, and balancing content consumption. This will be reinforced through digital detox programs, media consumption guides, and social media behavior transformation challenges. 3. Increasing Youth Participation in the Digital Space In accordance with Erasmus+ objectives to promote active youth participation in democratic life, this project will enable young people to transition from passive consumers to active contributors. Participants will develop their own campaigns against disinformation, raise awareness within their communities via social media, and learn how to utilize digital activism tools effectively. 4. Encouraging Youth to Spread Digital Awareness Within Their Communities The project will not only increase individual awareness among participants but also encourage them to initiate digital awareness movements within their own communities. Upon returning to their home countries, participants will organize awareness events to share their knowledge with others. This ensures that the project's impact extends beyond individual achievements and triggers long-term social transformation. 5. Developing Educational Modules and Tools for Youth Work This project aims to make a lasting contribution to Erasmus+ youth work by developing comprehensive educational materials and digital literacy modules. These resources will be openly shared on Erasmus+ Results Platform, EPALE, YouthApps, and the European Youth Portal. By making these materials accessible, youth workers, teachers, and civil society organizations will be able to implement sustainable educational activities on digital literacy. This project is not just a training program—it is a movement to equip young people with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to navigate the digital world consciously and effectively. Young people will no longer be lost in the digital landscape; they will be the ones shaping it.
