Objectives

Our project aims to enable young people to combat social exclusion, discrimination, and prejudice through the use of media and filmmaking tools. From a youth work perspective, the project seeks to enhance participants’ media literacy, promote intercultural dialogue, and strengthen social participation. Within the scope of our project, young people will develop skills in digital storytelling, short film production, and social media usage. Participants will collaborate with peers from different cultural and social backgrounds to produce content that raises awareness of prejudice and social exclusion. Throughout this process, young people’s teamwork, critical thinking, problem-solving, and digital media production skills will be supported, and they will be encouraged to take an active role in society by means of filmmaking and awareness-raising activities. Additionally, short films, educational materials, and media campaigns will be produced and disseminated at the end of the project. Ultimately, the project will serve as a tool to help young people express themselves creatively, increase participation in Erasmus+ projects, and foster individuals who are sensitive to social issues. Objectives: - Support 32 young people in gaining skills in filmmaking, media literacy, and digital content production. - Foster collaboration among participants with different cultural and social backgrounds in order to strengthen intercultural dialogue. - Enable participants to identify types of discrimination and social exclusion and raise their awareness of these issues. - Encourage the development of creative solutions for social problems and enhance young people’s problem-solving skills. - Improve creativity by using media and filmmaking processes. - Disseminate the short films produced during the project and organize screenings to raise public awareness. - Encourage participants to assess their individual learning processes and document their progress through the Youthpass certificate. - Motivate participants to organize film screenings, awareness campaigns, and educational workshops in their own countries. - Help young people gain a better understanding of the Erasmus+ program and become more aware of new opportunities.
