Objectives

The implementation of this project aims to empower young people with digital literacy skills, enhance their critical thinking, and foster their active participation in digital and social spaces in a responsible and meaningful way. In line with the Erasmus+ Youth Quality Standards and the European Youth Goals, our objectives include: 1. Enhancing Digital Competencies and Media Literacy: As digitalization rapidly transforms various aspects of life, young people must develop the ability to critically evaluate information, recognize digital risks, and harness the potential of digital tools. Through structured learning circles, workshops, debates, and practical training, this project will equip participants with media literacy, cybersecurity awareness, and digital content creation skills, enabling them to engage in the digital world as informed and responsible citizens. 2. Fostering Intercultural Dialogue and Inclusion: By bringing together young people from different cultural and social backgrounds, the project will create a space for meaningful exchange and collaboration. Participants will share experiences, perspectives, and challenges related to digitalization, thereby promoting understanding, tolerance, and cultural appreciation. This aligns with Youth Goal #3 "Inclusive Societies", which advocates for equal participation and intercultural learning opportunities. 3. Encouraging Youth Participation and Active Citizenship: The project contributes to Youth Goal #9 "Space and Participation for All" by engaging participants in interactive and participatory activities, encouraging them to take an active role in shaping the digital landscape. Through structured discussions and creative content production, young people will develop a voice in digital spaces and contribute to online discourse on digital rights, ethical AI use, and responsible social media consumption. 4. Developing Hands-on Learning and Content Creation Skills: A key aspect of this project is the production of podcasts, where participants will reflect on their learning, share their insights, and create accessible educational content. These podcasts will be disseminated across social media platforms (Spotify, YouTube, Instagram), ensuring that the project’s impact extends beyond its duration and reaches a broader audience. Participants will not only learn about digitalization theoretically but also apply their skills in a tangible, real-world project, contributing to their creative and professional development. 5. Ensuring Sustainability and Long-term Impact: The project is designed with a long-term perspective, ensuring that the knowledge and skills acquired by participants continue to benefit them and their communities even after the project ends. By engaging young people in post-project activities, such as editing and publishing podcasts, we ensure that their involvement extends beyond the initial training period, fostering continuous learning and leadership development. By aligning with Erasmus+ priorities and quality standards, this project empowers young people to navigate the digital world critically, ethically, and proactively, strengthening their 21st-century skills, resilience, and social engagement. Through interactive, experiential, and inclusive methods, we will create an impactful learning experience that enhances youth participation, fosters lifelong learning, and contributes to the European youth strategy's overarching goals.
