The project aims to equip youth workers with advanced digital competencies, AI-driven methodologies, and media literacy skills to enhance their ability to engage, educate, and empower young people, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. By integrating innovative digital strategies into youth work practice, the project will contribute to increasing digital inclusion, strengthening critical thinking, and fostering new approaches to online youth engagement. The main objectives of the project from the perspective of youth work practice are: 1. Enhancing Digital Literacy and AI Integration in Youth Work Equip youth workers with practical skills in digital literacy, AI tools, and media literacy to improve their engagement strategies. Introduce AI-driven educational methodologies, gamification tools, and digital storytelling techniques that will help youth workers create interactive and impactful learning experiences. Ensure that youth workers understand the ethical implications of AI in youth work, fostering responsible digital engagement. 2. Strengthening the Capacity of Youth Workers to Combat Digital Exclusion Provide youth workers with effective tools and methodologies to support young people with limited access to digital resources. Increase the capacity of youth organizations to reach marginalized groups, including young people in rural areas, refugees, and those facing social or economic barriers. Enable youth workers to design digital inclusion programs that reduce the digital divide and ensure equal access to learning opportunities. 3. Promoting Critical Thinking and Media Literacy Among Youth Workers Equip youth workers with skills to critically analyze digital content, detect misinformation, and teach media literacy to young people. Provide hands-on training in fact-checking, data verification, and online safety, ensuring that youth workers can guide young people in navigating the digital world responsibly. Empower youth workers to develop educational programs that tackle disinformation, online radicalization, and digital manipulation. 4. Enhancing Engagement Through Gamification and Digital Storytelling Train youth workers in gamification techniques and interactive digital storytelling to create more engaging and inclusive learning experiences for young people. Enable youth organizations to develop AI-enhanced learning modules that make youth work more dynamic and accessible. Ensure that digital tools are used to increase participation, motivation, and creativity in youth programs. 5. Supporting Youth Workers in Digital Safety and Ethical AI Practices Train youth workers in digital safety, data protection, and cybersecurity awareness, ensuring that both youth workers and young people are protected in online spaces. Provide resources on how to integrate AI into youth work ethically, considering privacy, transparency, and responsible use of technology. Create guidelines for youth organizations on safe AI usage, ensuring that digital engagement remains ethical and youth-centered. 6. Encouraging Cross-Border Collaboration and Innovation in Youth Work Foster international collaboration among youth workers and organizations, promoting the exchange of best practices in digital youth work. Strengthen youth work networks across Europe by creating a digital community where youth workers can continue to share resources, ideas, and experiences. Encourage the development of joint initiatives, new Erasmus+ projects, and follow-up collaborations that further enhance digital youth work. 7. Ensuring Sustainability and Long-Term Impact of Digital Youth Work Innovations Develop an AI-enhanced Digital Toolkit and an online platform where youth workers can access training materials, best practices, and digital youth work strategies even after the project ends. Equip youth organizations with the knowledge and tools to incorporate digital methodologies into their long-term strategies, ensuring continuous growth and innovation. Provide Europass Mobility and Youthpass Certificates to participants, validating their newly acquired digital and media literacy skills. Expected Achievements and Long-Term Impact By the end of the project, the following results are expected: At least 80% of youth workers report an improvement in their digital competencies and their ability to integrate AI, gamification, and media literacy into youth work. Over 70% of participating youth organizations adopt at least one digital engagement strategy in their work with young people. A minimum of 20 youth workers apply AI-driven methodologies in their activities, creating innovative digital youth work initiatives. The AI-enhanced Digital Toolkit is actively used by youth workers beyond project partners, serving as a key resource for the broader youth work community. Follow-up Erasmus+ projects and national initiatives are developed based on the project’s results, ensuring that the impact extends beyond the initial funding period.
