The fact that the study objectives support the psychological well-being of these individuals is compatible with the general study areas of the Erasmus+ program. Within the scope of the project we plan to carry out, the main theme is to ensure that youth workers acquire the skills to work with young prisoners, to be role models and mentors to young prisoners, and to develop conscious awareness of young prisoners about the factors that cause crime and their effects during the rehabilitation and change process. Again, plans will be made to ensure that the gains of youth workers as a result of this project are sustainable and can be integrated into all professional work. In addition, within the scope of the project objectives, youth workers will be provided with non-formal and innovative education methods beyond practicing their profession only with formal education methods. Our youth workers, all the vulnerable It conducts meetings and has one-on-one contact with young people who are included in the groups during the day. In these meetings, they will always need to use empathy, active listening, correct communication and healthy relationship building skills. They will have the opportunity to review, develop, improve and innovate these skills through the training activities they will receive within the scope of the project. All these achievements coincide with the standards of sustainability of Erasmus+ programs, which support the policy of developing youth work and non-formal education opportunities, and supporting lifelong learning. Within the scope of our project, the achievements of youth workers such as getting to know different cultures, strengthening communication and cooperation with individuals from different cultures, gaining European awareness, and experiencing different learning environments are compatible with the goals of Erasmus+ programs. Comprehensive training of youth students to mentor young inmates serves an important goal. The aim of this type of project is usually to achieve a few main points *Rehabilitation of Young People and Their Integration into Society: Integrating young prisoners into society in a way free from crime. Training can facilitate the reintegration of their structure by contributing to their emotional, psychological and social development in this process. *Improving Mentoring Skills: Necessary development is ensured for youth workers to be able to perform effective mentoring. These opportunities include empathy, communication, speaking and guidance. Training strengthens the development of the mentor and enables a healthier relationship with young prisoners. *Providing Psycho-social Support: Trainings enable youth workers to better understand prisoners when they encounter them. It makes it possible to accurately assess the psychological state of young people and provide them with appropriate support. *Fighting Addiction and Crime: If young prisoners tend to commit crimes or struggle with various addiction problems, the training also includes approaches that can help them in these issues. Youth workers learn how to help young people beyond criminal processes. *Use of Alternative Education Methods: Traditional education methods may not always be the most effective for young prisoners. Trainings enable youth workers to engage young people by using creative and alternative education methods. *Social Awareness and Change: Such projects may aim to increase social awareness. Informing the society about the difficulties experienced by young prisoners and helping them understand them better can draw attention to an issue that society often ignores. As a result, by implementing this project, we want to ensure that youth workers lead to positive changes that will make a difference in the lives of young prisoners, both in their personal development and in their mentoring processes.
