Through this project, we aim to enhance the awareness of youth workers on climate change and environmental sustainability while equipping them with the necessary skills to encourage young people to take more active roles in these areas. The primary objectives of the project include enabling youth workers to gain knowledge and competencies in climate resilience, sustainable urban planning, and youth participation in environmental policies, supporting them in conducting more effective youth work through non-formal education methodologies, and encouraging them to develop innovative solutions in these fields. Additionally, the project aims to increase the capacity of youth workers to create environmentally friendly projects and facilitate the dissemination of best practices within their communities. During the project, participants will engage in hands-on training, field visits, group discussions, and youth policy dialogues, gaining practical experience and learning how to guide young people in becoming actively involved in combating climate change. By the end of the project, participants will be able to apply their newly acquired knowledge within their organizations and youth work practices, contributing to the creation of climate-resilient communities. This project is directly aligned with the Erasmus+ program’s objectives of enhancing the quality of youth work, developing innovative approaches, and promoting the active participation of young people in society. It aims to strengthen the capacities of youth workers and ensure a long-term impact in the field of climate adaptation and environmental sustainability.
