Objectives

The primary aim of this project is to enhance the inclusivity and diversity of Erasmus+ mobility activities, with a particular focus on empowering Erasmus Office staff to design and implement more inclusive programmes. One key objective is to improve the staff’s knowledge and skills in promoting inclusion, particularly in youth work practice. To achieve this, a series of workshops will be delivered during the project, focusing on inclusive methodologies and strategies. By the end of the project, we aim for at least 80% of the participants to demonstrate improved understanding of inclusion as evidenced through pre- and post-training assessments. Moreover, this project seeks to integrate inclusion and diversity into the core operations of Erasmus Offices, which will be achieved by introducing a set of practical guidelines that all participating offices can adopt. These guidelines will help staff in embedding inclusive practices into their daily work, ensuring that future Erasmus+ activities cater to a broader and more diverse range of participants. Within three months of the project’s conclusion, 100% of the participating Erasmus Offices will have adopted these guidelines, ensuring long-term sustainability of the project’s impact. In addition, the project will equip staff with practical tools for inclusive youth work, providing them with the resources necessary to design and implement inclusive mobility projects. Following the training, we expect at least 90% of the participants to utilise these tools in the development of future Erasmus+ activities. This will be evaluated through feedback and the design of new projects, ensuring that the tools are directly applied to improve programme inclusivity. A critical component of the project is strengthening collaboration between Erasmus Offices and their partner organisations. By fostering strong partnerships and knowledge exchange, we aim to create a network of Erasmus+ stakeholders who can continue to collaborate and share best practices after the project’s conclusion. This collaborative effort will be evaluated through a follow-up survey, ensuring that 100% of the partner organisations are engaged in joint activities within six months of the project’s completion. Furthermore, the project aims to engage young people, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, by providing opportunities for their increased participation in Erasmus+ mobility. This objective is directly tied to the project's focus on inclusivity, as the staff will be trained to design programmes that are more accessible to young people with fewer opportunities. By the next Erasmus+ call for proposals, we anticipate a 20% increase in the number of youth participants from underrepresented groups, as compared to previous cycles. Lastly, the project aims to build long-term capacity for inclusive practices in Erasmus+ programmes. By creating a sustainable framework for inclusion that is integrated into the operations of Erasmus Offices, the project will have lasting effects on the accessibility of Erasmus+ mobility. This framework will be implemented within six months of the project’s conclusion, ensuring that inclusive practices remain a priority in future Erasmus+ activities. Through these objectives, the project will contribute significantly to the improvement of inclusive youth work practices within Erasmus+ programmes, fostering long-term impact and sustainability in the participating organisations.
