Objectives

The pollution of the rivers and the inability to prevent this pose a risk for the deterioration of the ecological balance and therefore the reduction of habitats. The rapidly growing settlements, the related infrastructure problems, the increasing amount of waste and the indifference of the society on this issue make this risk even more serious. As a result of this situation, increased work or school stress, decreased hobby areas, poor social communication, indifference to social problems and social responsibility awareness decrease. The magnitude of environmental pollution will make people think that their individual contributions will be ineffective. With this project, it is expected that young people will acquire skills that will develop responsibility towards environmental problems, create awareness in their own environment and especially raise awareness for the protection of water resources. In our project, non-formal and informal education methods (team work, individual work, due diligence, visits and interviews, reporting, workshops, analysis, outdoor studies, exercise activities, games, evaluation sessions and feedback) will be used to ensure active participation. It will also increase our ability to share perspectives and develop future collaborative projects under the Erasmus+ Programme. Project objectives; • By making workshops, visits and seminars for the participants; sharing information on water resources and the environment, cleanliness and protection. • To raise awareness with different perspectives on the protection of rivers and the fight against environmental pollution. •To give messages that will affect the indirect participants and local people about the protection of rivers and environmental cleaning. •To provide young people with environmental awareness as well as active citizenship and the habit of movement for a healthy life through outdoor activities to be held by the river. •To inspire the relevant institutions about a sustainable practice with the steps to be taken against the protection of rivers and environmental pollution. • To contribute to the development of their English level. • To improve the cooperation between the participants by getting to know the Erasmus+ key actions and the youthpass tool in more detail. •Cultural promotion. In addition, we will give tea and coffee breaks as necessary to prevent activities from becoming unexciting. In addition, our project will include games, yoga or soft exercises, cultural exchange activities. The methodology to be implemented throughout the project requires that participants be active for all activities.
