Objectives

By implementing this project, we aim to empower young people, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, by providing them with access to international opportunities, enhancing their skills, and fostering their personal development through European mobility programs. Our project seeks to build their capacity in various key areas, ultimately contributing to their future employability, active citizenship, and personal growth. From the perspective of youth work practice, the primary objectives of the project are as follows: First, we aim to raise awareness among young people about the opportunities available within European mobility programs, such as Erasmus+, volunteering programs, and other transnational projects. By doing so, we hope to inspire and motivate young people to take part in such initiatives, helping them to see the value of intercultural experiences and international collaboration. Secondly, we aim to support the professional development of youth workers by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and tools to guide young people through these opportunities. This includes providing training to youth workers on how to better engage with young people, develop their competencies, and effectively manage mobility programs. Strengthening the capacity of youth workers ensures that they are well-equipped to support young people in their journeys of personal and professional development. Moreover, we seek to foster an environment where young people can develop key skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability through practical engagement with European mobility projects. These skills are essential for enhancing young people’s employability, as well as for encouraging them to become active and informed citizens in their local communities and beyond. Another objective is to improve the inclusion of disadvantaged young people, who might otherwise lack the resources or information to access international opportunities. The project aims to reduce barriers to participation, whether financial, informational, or cultural, and ensure that all young people, regardless of their backgrounds, have the chance to benefit from these European initiatives. Additionally, we aim to create a sustainable network of youth workers, young people, and partner organizations who can continue to share experiences, resources, and best practices even after the project has ended. By building long-term relationships and collaboration, we will help ensure the continuity of the project's positive impact, allowing young people and youth workers to keep benefiting from the skills and networks they have gained during the project. Lastly, the project intends to promote European values such as solidarity, respect for diversity, and inclusion. Through active participation in European mobility and volunteering activities, young people will have the chance to experience different cultures, learn about other ways of life, and develop a broader understanding of global issues. This will contribute to the development of a generation of young people who are not only skilled and employable but also open-minded, empathetic, and ready to tackle social challenges at both local and European levels. In summary, the project seeks to equip young people with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in a globalized world, to enhance the professional capacity of youth workers, to foster inclusivity, and to promote European values through active youth engagement. Ultimately, the project will help young people to become more confident, capable, and engaged citizens, empowered to pursue their personal goals and contribute to a more interconnected and inclusive society.
