By implementing this project, we aim to enhance the international mobility and cultural awareness of disadvantaged young people, contribute to their personal and professional development, and increase the accessibility of Erasmus+ programs. Through the DiscoverEU program, we seek to provide young people from rural areas and economically disadvantaged backgrounds with the opportunity to explore Europe, engage with different cultures, and develop a sense of global citizenship. By enabling participants to visit different countries, we aim to help them build self-confidence, improve independent decision-making skills, and become more comfortable in multicultural environments. The project focuses on enhancing young people's social and cultural adaptability, strengthening their European identity, and improving their language skills. Through various activities and youth engagement initiatives in different countries, participants will have the opportunity to develop tolerance, empathy, and cultural understanding. Additionally, financial and mentoring support will be provided to ensure that young people facing economic and geographical barriers can increase their mobility and access Erasmus+ programs more easily. This project also aims to increase young people’s employability in the job market. By strengthening key competencies such as international experience, language skills, and cultural awareness, participants will be better equipped for future career opportunities. Moreover, to foster active citizenship and social responsibility, participants will be encouraged to learn more about Erasmus+ programs and to share this knowledge within their communities. The long-term objectives of the project include enhancing the integration of young people from Eskişehir with Europe, making Erasmus+ programs more inclusive, and developing innovative approaches in youth work.
