SMARTSTART aims to equip pre-school teacher candidates with ML competencies, fostering inclusive, data-driven teaching. It develops an ML-integrated curriculum, promotes innovation through co-design, and ensures sustainability via a multilingual open-access platform. Pilot implementations and stakeholder engagement will drive long-term adoption of ML in early childhood education across Europe.
