Objectives

The project will empower mothers as adult learners by building their confidence, offering intercultural experiences, and inspiring lifelong learning. Through job shadowing and advanced training, GentleNest will strengthen its expertise in Waldorf and Pikler approaches and bring back practices that support parents’ skills, key-competences, self-care, and employability. This will increase our capacity to respond to the real needs of families.

Background

GentleNest is a young organisation supporting families with small children. In our daily work, we see that many mothers face isolation and loss of confidence after becoming parents, while our organisation also needs to strengthen expertise and capacity. We aim to deepen knowledge in Waldorf and Pikler approaches learning directly from established institutions, build international connections, and offer mothers intercultural exchange to inspire confidence and lifelong learning.
