Objectives

We will strengthen the professional and methodological competencies in our academy in the field of adult education by having participants observe and analyze transnational, practice-oriented educational models. The goal is to transfer innovative teaching and learning methods, mentoring structures, and integration strategies into our programs in order to sustainably promote the employability, and self-efficacy of adults with an Afghan migration background.

Background

The project addresses the major challenges in adult education for people with an Afghan migration background, including language barriers, lack of recognition of qualifications, and limited professional networks. Our academy aims to empower staff to gain practical experience with European educational programs, procedures for the recognition of foreign qualifications, and networking models in order to better tailor courses to the needs of learners.
