The project will address SKI's challenges by turning its strengths into structured practices. It will equip staff with tested methodologies bridging inclusion and employability. This moves SKI from basic NFE to using structured, result-driven methodologies like curriculum design and validation tools to make learning measurable. Finally, it will build long-term European partnerships (Finland and Italy) to access innovative practices, strengthen capacity, and co-create future Erasmus+ projects.
Somalische Kultur- und Integrationsverein (SKI) has helped migrant families for over a decade, but its community work must now evolve into structured, employability-focused adult learning. Staff need advanced competences in intercultural mediation, learner-centred NFE, and digital tools, plus exposure to European best practices. This project is key: job shadowing in Finland and structured training in Italy will provide the models and networks SKI needs for lasting European added value.
