With F.L.A.R.E. – Fine Lines Across Regions of Europe, our goal is to use international travel and creative exploration as tools to support the personal, social, and educational development of young people with fewer opportunities. From a youth work perspective, the project aims to create safe, empowering, and reflective environments where participants can discover themselves, connect with others, and become more engaged in society. Main Objectives: 1. Foster Inclusion and Active Participation To reach and engage young people who face economic, social, or cultural barriers, and to give them access to meaningful European mobility experiences that are often out of reach. We aim to build their sense of belonging, visibility, and agency—both within their communities and as young Europeans. 2. Support Personal and Social Development Through non-formal education, we want to help participants develop soft skills such as self-confidence, teamwork, problem-solving, emotional resilience, and adaptability. Our trips offer structured moments for reflection, mentorship, and creative expression—enabling participants to recognize their growth and shape their future paths. 3. Promote Intercultural Learning and Dialogue By traveling in diverse groups and engaging with local communities across Europe, participants will experience cultural diversity first-hand, learn to navigate differences, and build empathy and intercultural competence—key values in youth work. 4. Encourage Creative Self-Expression and Storytelling Using methods like vlogging, journaling, interviews, and collaborative media creation, we want to equip young people with tools to express their stories, reflect on their journeys, and contribute to wider social dialogue. This strengthens not only digital and communication skills but also their ability to be heard. 5. Increase Motivation for Future Learning and Participation By exposing participants to Erasmus+ and DiscoverEU opportunities, we aim to spark long-term engagement with non-formal learning, volunteering, and civic participation. Our project seeks to open doors, build confidence, and support participants in imagining a future with more possibilities.
