Cultural experiences at the international level are a central pillar of democratic education. However, many young people don't have access to such opportunities due to financial barriers or the limited visibility of programmes such as Discover EU. With our project, we aim to close this gap and enable young people to actively experience the EU. During the journey, the participants will visit cultural events in different European cities by train. The organization of the trip will be largely in the hands of the young people themselves. In this way, they will not only gain valuable insights into diverse cultural activities but also develop important skills in self-organization, teamwork, and responsibility.
