This project aims to enable young people with fewer opportunities to access a European mobility experience, considered as a fundamental right to non-formal education, cultural openness, and personal autonomy. Our main objective is to remove the economic, logistical, social, and emotional barriers that prevent these young people from accessing mobility projects. We seek to give them the means to live an enriching, empowering, and valuable experience, in line with the inclusion and equal opportunity objectives of the Erasmus+ programme. From the perspective of youth work, the project aims to: - Accompany young people within a progressive pathway DIVE is part of a pedagogical continuum: participants have already experienced short-term group mobilities with educational support. DiscoverEU represents a further step, more autonomous but still supported by structured youth work. The objective is to foster progression towards genuine autonomy, both personal and social, as well as professional. - Promote autonomy and responsibility among young people By supporting them in the preparation, implementation, and follow-up of their journey, we give them the opportunity to develop transversal skills: project management, organizational abilities, intercultural communication, and adaptability to new environments. - Ensure genuine inclusion of disadvantaged young people By actively combating social determinism, the project specifically targets young people facing economic, social, or cultural barriers. The support provided (financial, logistical, psychosocial) aims to create fair conditions for participation and to prevent social inequalities from being reproduced within mobility opportunities. - Strengthen self-confidence and personal development Many of the young people concerned lack confidence in their abilities and hesitate to project themselves into unknown environments. The project offers them workshops, individual and group follow-up, as well as a safe framework to take this step and turn the experience into a driver for empowerment. - Promote intercultural education and European citizenship Traveling in Europe is a unique opportunity to be exposed to cultural diversity, to develop language skills, and to strengthen a sense of belonging to the European community. The project includes intercultural preparation and post-mobility follow-up to consolidate these achievements and encourage civic engagement. DIVE is a project that goes beyond a simple travel experience: it aims to create a non-formal, inclusive, and structured educational framework, where mobility becomes a tool for empowerment, for fighting inequalities, and for building an active European citizenship.
