The project “Europe's Stands: The Game, the Glory, the Fans” aims to provide young people, especially those with fewer opportunities, with a unique learning experience through sport, culture, and intercultural dialogue. Through three activities – Calcio in Italy, Gegenpressing in Germany, and Behind the Curtain in Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic – participants will explore the history of football, fan culture, club management models, and social inclusion through sport. The project promotes teamwork, digital competencies, entrepreneurship, and language skills, with a special focus on participants from remote or small communities facing geographical, financial, and social limitations. The learning process starts in the preparatory phase, where participants plan routes, research destinations, book accommodation, and help design daily activities. During the travel, they apply their knowledge through tasks, challenges, and games, tracking progress via the Travel Diary and the Youthpass certificate. Reflections, evaluations, and dissemination of experiences allow participants to recognize their developed skills and share them with peers, families, and the local community. The project also emphasizes visibility and dissemination. Participants create content for social media, official activity videos, and personal reflections, shared on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and the Erasmus+ Results Platform. Public presentations at the High school dormitory Sušak further connect the project with the local community and future participants, fostering a culture of participation and empowerment for young people with fewer opportunities. From a youth work perspective, the project’s objective is to provide informal learning experiences that strengthen participants’ personal, social, and professional competencies, empowering them to actively engage in society and European initiatives. Through sport and culture, participants develop critical thinking, teamwork, and intercultural awareness. By combining education, experiential learning, and dissemination, the project ensures a long-term impact on both participants and the wider community.
