The project will focus on 3 main objectives: improving strategies for teaching staff to provide digital education in a restricted environments such as prisons, improving strategies for teaching staff in Adult Education to teach tolerance in diverse classrooms, and to look at integrated teaching methodologies for teaching English for speakers of other languages to adults.
The staff of the Prison and Adult Education Services identified challenges in their own sections of the organisation for which they wanted to find solutions. They had seen the benefits that the Erasmus + projects had bought to other sections of our organisation. This project is seeking to provide an opportunity for those involved in Adult and Prison Education in City of Dublin ETB to exchange good practice with their colleagues in Europe by means of Job shadowing.
