The three main objectives that we want to achieve by implementing the LEAP project are to: Provide enhanced learning experiences that empower disadvantaged adult learners to build confidence and skills through inclusive learning and access to international opportunities Strengthen staff capacity to support disadvantaged adult learners through international collaboration and professional development Enhance the overall quality of our adult education provision by embedding internationalisation
We are applying for the LEAP Project as a first step towards internationalisation within our Adult Education provision. The project has also been motivated by learners and staff who are aware of Erasmus+ asking how they might access mobility opportunities. We believe the project will be especially beneficial for both our staff and disadvantaged Adult Education learners and will help us to strengthen engagement and support functions for adults who face barriers to participation.
