We aim to learn from our Spanish partners in three areas: (1) adapting economic and financial justice education to be accessible and relevant; (2) combining community engagement and education with active participation in international networks and campaigns; and (3) gaining insights into organisational development, structures, decision-making, and lessons on participation, ownership, and strategic direction in the current context.
We have a series of challenges that we know organisations with a similar historical trajectory to us in other European countries have also had to deal with. We are a member of international networks and this Spanish partner organisation is very highly regarded in those networks for the effectiveness and quality of its education and awareness raising work and its organisational structure. . We have been carrying out an internal review and now is an extremely opportune time to learn from partners.
