Objectives

The focus will be on decision making, maintaining a positive outlook, self-awareness, and developing a sense of belonging. Engaging in critical thinking, problem-solving, and challenging limiting beliefs will be encouraged to strengthen cognitive and emotional skills, along with learning risk management and social skills through experience and peer interaction. Through a blend of autonomy-supported, peer-learning, and coach-led sessions.

Background

We want to provide trainee Instructors with opportunities to develop and observe Instructional Skills in different contexts, by uncovering essential cross-disciplinary skills through engaging in outdoor educational initiatives. Students will also be able to better understand the embedment of transversal skill in activities, the employment opportunities provided by the qualifications gained during their course and how these are also transferable across Europe.
