Objectives

The Open to the World project is aimed at young people with special needs, including those with intellectual and/or mental disabilities. These young people often face limitations in terms of social inclusion, self-expression, and learning opportunities, so the project aims to give them the opportunity to experience international travel, develop social, creative, and intercultural skills, and strengthen their self-confidence. The project includes trips to the Czech Republic and Tallinn. Four young people with special needs and fewer opportunities will go on each trip. The young people will be accompanied by experienced individuals with work experience with this target group. The project will be implemented in accordance with the Erasmus+ youth quality standards, ensuring the safety of participants, responsiveness to individual needs, an inclusive environment, and a sustainable approach to travel. The results will be evaluated using various tools, including Youthpass, which will help young people identify and assess the competences they have acquired.
