New learning and teaching methods and approachesScience, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM)Creativity, arts and culture

Objectives

The main goal of this mobility is to broaden staff skills and spark creativity through informal exchange. Visiting arts, science, and culture organisations will let staff learn diverse science communication methods, curatorial practices, and approaches to inclusion, diversity, and sustainability. Our primary focus will be that of bridging the perceived gap between art and science. But we will be open to observing how science and art can be used to address environmental and societal topics.

Background

Esplora’s past KA1 projects received very positive feedback from both participants and staff benefiting from 'train the trainer' events that followed. Erasmus+ support for job shadowing and staff training will help implement our new strategy transitioning from STEM to STEAM, making programming more inclusive and extending our reach to audiences previously underserved.
