Objectives

By implementing this project, we aim to contribute to the personal and social development of young people from rural areas by providing them with concrete opportunities to overcome their limitations and strengthen their confidence in their own abilities. From the perspective of youth work practice, the main objective is to facilitate the process of self-assessment, awareness of their potential, and development of skills necessary to face life's challenges. We want to increase the self-confidence of the young beneficiaries so that they become more motivated, autonomous, and actively involved in their community and in their personal assertion process. One of the major goals of the project is to contribute to the consolidation of a sense of belonging to European values through active involvement of young people in mobility experiences and civic participation. In this regard, we will create contexts in which young people can directly experience European values such as freedom, equality, respect for diversity, and democratic participation. This will lead to a better understanding of the concept of European citizenship and a closer connection to the values and norms of the European Union, which is essential for shaping responsible and engaged young individuals. Additionally, through the activities and methodologies used, we aim to create a favorable environment for the development of competencies and attitudes that will allow young people to overcome the multiple barriers they face daily. This includes developing communication skills, teamwork, problem-solving, adaptability, and initiative. We want young people to understand that limitations are temporary and that, with perseverance and support, they can transform these into opportunities for growth. Another essential objective is to raise awareness about social inequalities and the existing gaps between urban and rural youth. In the long term, we aim for the young people involved in the project to become role models for their peers and communities, inspiring and motivating other generations to follow their dreams and get involved in society. By strengthening self-confidence, developing competencies, and promoting European values, we will contribute to shaping a responsible generation of young people, open to innovation, and capable of facing the challenges of the 21st century. Through the project, we also want to promote European values and reinforce the sense of belonging, so that young people become agents of change within their communities and society as a whole. Project objectives: O1. Increasing self-confidence among young beneficiaries throughout the duration of the project; O2. Developing a sense of belonging to European values among participants through their participation in mobility experiences; O3. Acquiring and developing skills and attitudes that will help young participants overcome the multiple barriers they face throughout the project.
