The main goal of our project is to create a mobility experience for five young people with fewer opportunities from Curtea de Argeș and the surrounding villages, giving them the chance to travel to Europe, discover new cultures and overcome personal and social obstacles. The objectives of the project are: 1. Increasing the level of self-confidence for the young participants. 2. Increasing emotional resilience, so that they can better cope with the obstacles and pressures they face. 3. Developing communication and teamwork skills. From the perspective of working with young people, the project involves a process of learning through practice, reflection and self-evaluation, through which the participants have the opportunity to experience real situations and learn from them. They have been involved since the writing stage of the project and will also assume active roles in implementation and dissemination. Thus, they will learn to plan their trip, use digital tools to book transport and accommodation, manage their budget and find solutions in unforeseen situations. The mobility experience will broaden their horizons by discovering European cultural diversity, meeting locals and visiting important capitals. In addition, through dissemination activities (making videos, presentations at high schools, a dedicated page on the website), the young people will share their experience with other colleagues and combat prejudices related to Erasmus+ and DiscoverEU, showing that these programmes are educational and accessible to everyone. In the long term, we want the participants to return home more confident and independent, to become examples for other young people in their community and to inspire them to access other European opportunities. In this way, the project contributes not only to the personal development of the five young people, but also to increasing the level of participation and European openness of the community to which they belong.
