SigneDemocracy is a project with 5 WPs that aims to empower deaf and hard-of-hearing youth as active European citizens by: increasing democratic awareness and intercultural dialogue; creating real-life civic simulation spaces through national Deaf Youth Parliaments; strengthening the visibility and capacity of sign languages in civic and educational life; and promoting co-created, deaf-led, anti-tokenistic participation frameworks, thereby speeding up the process of a common European Demos.
