Objectives

“All the Voices of Life #JoinUs” is a project designed to give a voice to young people who have experienced the reality of earthquakes and who still feel its impact in their daily lives. In Türkiye, earthquakes are, unfortunately, often remembered only when they strike — and quickly forgotten afterwards. As we forget, we take more risks and stop taking precautions. This project aims to break that cycle by amplifying the voices of young people, making their experiences visible, and raising awareness in society. Our project will be implemented with the participation of young people aged 18–21, organized in two groups. Participants will be selected particularly from those living in earthquake-affected regions, who still carry the psychological and social effects of the disaster and whose participation in social life remains limited. Our main objectives are:
• To give young people the opportunity to explore, stay motivated, and strengthen their connection to life.
 • To raise earthquake awareness and empower young people to become active advocates for disaster preparedness within their communities.
 • To create a safe and inclusive environment that enables young people to express themselves and supports their psychosocial recovery.
 • To help young people develop teamwork, shared decision-making, and crisis management skills, contributing to their personal and social growth.
• To strengthen young people’s sense of belonging and solidarity through intercultural exchange and peer support, helping them feel less alone.
 • To encourage young people to use art, media, and creative tools to share their voices with a wider audience and to produce tangible outputs at the end of the project (such as videos, reports, and digital storytelling products).
