Our project strengthens urgently needed democracy education, which is often neglected in everyday school life. Young people should understand European contexts, experience political participation and perceive themselves as an active part of the European Union. In an inclusive setting, we create community, enable sustainable learning and build bridges to help shape Europe. All participants expand their knowledge of institutions and decision-making processes, as demonstrated by before-and-after surveys and the Youthpass. At least one-third come from rural areas in order to break down barriers. Half of the content on social media is created directly by young people to make their voices heard. Over seventy percent should feel more confident in their presentation and discussions. Materials such as brochures, travel diaries and social media content are distributed to schools and the education authority. This creates formative experiences with a lasting impact.
