Inclusion of marginalised young peoplePreventing racism and discriminationCreativity, arts and culture

Objectives

With this project, we want to offer young people from the popular districts of Brussels and Fresnes an experience of intercultural exchange and artistic expression around the theme of discrimination. The aim is to give them the opportunity to step out of their daily lives, to meet other young people facing similar realities, and to discover that they can be agents of change through art. From a youth work perspective, this project aims to: Promote the active participation of young people in all phases (preparation, activities, dissemination). Use non-formal education (theatre, dance, debates, photolanguage) to develop self-confidence, creativity, and critical thinking. Create an inclusive and safe space where everyone can share their experiences, challenge stereotypes, and express themselves freely. Encourage European mobility as a tool for openness, showing young people that travelling, cooperating, and creating together is possible and accessible. Strengthen the civic dimension of the participating associations, by engaging young people in a collective dynamic that goes beyond the project itself. In short, the project combines artistic expression, civic reflection, and intercultural exchange so that young people can grow individually while building a common experience of fighting discrimination.
