Objectives

While the development of information and communication technologies has made access to information and people faster and easier, these technologies also have negative effects. Digital environments, which have become an indispensable part of young people's lives, can have harmful consequences if misused. Digital bullying is one of the most significant of these harms. Behaviours such as revealing personal information, insults, threats, exclusion and humiliation are widespread among young people and cause psychological, social and emotional problems. This project aims to reduce the negative impact of digital bullying on young people, raise their awareness of their digital rights and help them develop safe digital skills. Unlike traditional bullying, digital bullying is not limited by time or place - it can continue 24/7 and have a profound impact on individuals' lives. This type of bullying disrupts young people's psychological equilibrium and negatively impacts their social lives, and is an increasingly prevalent problem. Research across Europe shows that 20% of young people have experienced digital bullying. This form of harassment not only affects victims in the short term, but also undermines their self-confidence, leads to social exclusion and causes long-term psychological trauma. At this point, the main aim of our project is to combat digital bullying and ensure that young people are aware of the issue. We want to create an online environment where young people's digital rights are respected. To achieve this, we plan to organize trainings and workshops on digital rights, online safety and digital literacy for young people. Through innovative educational programmes and activities developed as part of our project, young people will learn how to overcome the challenges they face in the digital world and acquire the necessary skills to do so. OBJECTIVES: 1. Awareness of digital rights: Provide training on personal data security, privacy and internet ethics to teach young people about their digital rights and how to protect them. 2. Tackling digital bullying: Raise awareness of digital bullying and help young people develop defenses against this form of bullying. 3. Online safety and privacy: Provide training on social media safety, personal data protection and defense against cyber threats to ensure that young people can use the internet safely. 4. Digital literacy: Helping young people to critically evaluate digital content and become more aware of methods of verifying information. 5. Social and emotional resilience: Providing psychological support to victims of digital bullying and encouraging young people to develop resilience to such bullying. Our project aims to reduce the negative impact of digital bullying on young people and raise their awareness of how to maintain a safe online presence in an environment where their digital rights are respected. Various activities and training sessions will be organized in partner countries to raise young people's awareness of digital bullying and strengthen their ability to deal with threats they may encounter online. The workshops, seminars and educational programmes organized during the project will offer innovative methods to help young people navigate the digital world more safely and with greater awareness. By creating a community that protects the psychological, social and digital rights of young people, this project aims to minimize the harmful effects of digital bullying and empower young people to feel empowered in the online world.
