Objectives

The implementation of the project "DigiPack of tools for youth workers" will significantly improve the quality and effectiveness of youth work by building key digital competences and knowledge in the field of cybersecurity. The project aims to respond to the growing challenges associated with digitalization in youth work, while providing practical tools and innovative approaches that can be applied by youth workers in their daily activities. The main objective of the project is to increase the digital literacy and awareness of youth workers regarding the safe and effective use of technology in their work with young people. This includes skills for recognizing and preventing cybersecurity risks, as well as the ability to use digital tools to create innovative training programs. In addition, the project aims to support youth workers in understanding and applying artificial intelligence as part of their practices, which will contribute to more effective engagement with young people. The project also aims to encourage the exchange of good practices and cooperation between youth workers from different countries by creating an international network for mutual assistance and knowledge exchange. By involving participants with diverse experiences and from different cultural backgrounds, the project will support intercultural dialogue and stimulate innovation in youth work. From a youth work perspective, the project focuses on building practical skills that can be directly applied in working with young people. The aim is for youth workers to become more confident in using technology and to be able to create programs that are both safe and engaging for young people. At the same time, it aims to increase their ability to recognize and address the needs of young people in the digital age, ensuring that youth work remains relevant and effective in an ever-changing world. The project also seeks to strengthen the sustainability and long-term impact of youth work by developing resources and tools that can be used after the project has ended. This includes the creation of training materials that can be adapted and disseminated to a wider range of organizations and youth workers. Through these efforts, the project will contribute to establishing youth work as a field that keeps pace with technological innovations and offers high-quality services to young people.
