The project aims to address the urgent need to improve financial literacy among young people in Europe by developing the capacity and skills of youth workers – those who work with young people on a daily basis, especially those in disadvantaged situations. In a context of economic instability, inflation and low personal savings among young people, the role of the youth worker becomes even more crucial. The project will prepare them to be practically oriented trainers, mentors and role models. Main objective: To increase the capacity of youth workers to work on topics related to financial literacy, entrepreneurship and digital skills, through non-formal education and practical methods. Specific objectives: 1. To promote the need for financial literacy and the use of AI technologies for training young people. 2. To increase the financial literacy of youth workers by introducing them to basic financial terms, personal budget management strategies and long-term planning. 3. To train participants to use AI tools (chatbots, adaptive quizzes, simulations), which they can easily and affordably apply in their work to develop the financial and digital skills of young people. 4. To create an AI-based digital resource that will be accessible to all partners, their communities and anyone interested after the project. 5. To promote non-formal education and the “E+” program as a tool to support the development of intercultural competences. Specific objectives from the perspective of youth work: 1. Increasing key competences of youth workers: - Knowledge of basic and advanced concepts such as: budgeting, spending planning, savings, debts, inflation, investments, etc.; - Use of digital and AI tools in working with young people on the topic of finances; - Development of entrepreneurial thinking, critical thinking and informed decision-making. 2. Preparing youth workers to work with young people with fewer opportunities: - Adapting learning resources and approaches to the needs of vulnerable young people; - Increasing intercultural sensitivity, tolerance and inclusive communication; - Building confidence and practical skills to lead training sessions in accessible language. 3. Creating a practical training framework: - Developing and implementing training modules, role-playing games, simulations and group activities; - Building a resource base (handbook) that can be applied in the long term by youth workers in different contexts. 4. Promoting the exchange of experience and good practices: - Creating a space for transnational exchange of methodologies and ideas between youth workers from different countries; - Stimulating mutual learning and cooperation, including between more experienced and newcomer organizations. 5. Sustainability and Multiplication: - Preparing participants to organize local trainings after the end of the project; - Sustainable dissemination of results through digital channels and working with stakeholders; - Engaging young people with fewer opportunities in the learning and change process.
