The project H-BASE (Healthy Boundaries and Assertiveness in Youth Work for Empowerment) aims to improve the quality of youth work in Europe by focusing on the mental health and well-being of youth workers themselves. Through a training course, follow-up local activities and systematic reflection practices, the project will create conditions for youth workers to build resilience, set healthy personal and professional boundaries, and develop skills for stress and burnout prevention. The objectives of the project are to strengthen the professional capacity of participants, to improve the working environment in the youth sector, to promote a culture of self-awareness and respect for personal boundaries, and to integrate mental health as a positive resource in youth work. The project also aims to build a network of youth workers and organisations that will share good practices and develop innovations in this field.
