The project Digital Defenders – Young Voices in AI and Cybersecurity aims to empower young people aged 18–30 to become active digital citizens who can critically and responsibly engage with artificial intelligence and cybersecurity challenges. By combining non-formal education, intercultural exchange, and practical creation of digital tools, the project strengthens youth participation in democratic life. Main Objective: To enhance the capacity of young people to use AI and digital technologies for civic engagement, advocacy, and protection of digital rights. Specific Objectives: - To build digital literacy and critical awareness of AI and online risks. - To foster youth-led innovation through collaborative creation of digital prototypes. - To develop intercultural dialogue and teamwork among participants from seven countries. - To produce a Youth Toolkit and campaigns on AI and cybersecurity. - To engage decision makers and communities in supporting youth digital participation.
